The West Windsor Community Farmers Market Prepares for Fall Season

Voted one of New Jersey’s top-ranked farmers markets by the general public via American Farmland Trust, the West Windsor Community Farmers Market (WWCFM) is ready and excited for the return of fall in the Garden State.

WWCFM features nearly 150 New Jersey farmers on a weekly basis. This year will also include a lineup of special events to engage the community. “Produce Pete” Napolitano will be on site to sign copies of his newly released memoir and cookbook, They Call Me Produce Pete, on September 23. The New York NBC Weekend Today personality is a talented cook and expert on how to pick the best fruit and vegetables from the supermarket or farmstand.

Another upcoming event is the Apple Pie Contest on October 7. Expert and amateur home bakers are welcome to participate in the contest. For submission details, email manager@westwindsorfarmersmarket.org.

For a complete list of fall events, visit www.westwindsorfarmersmarket.org. The WWCFM is accessible from 877 Alexander Road, where there is also free parking. The lot is also serviced by NJ Transit bus 877 or the Dinky (followed by a half mile walk to the Vaughn Lot).
