TASK Posts Holiday Wish List

Spread some holiday cheer this year by helping to fulfill the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) Holiday Wish List. Each year, TASK works to ensure that everyone in the community has a festive and meaningful holiday season. By donating warm winter weather gear, toys, and food, you can help make the holidays even more special for neighbors in need.

This year, the Holiday Wish List includes gloves, scarves, and socks; skull caps (blue grey and black); backpacks and drawstring bags; hoodies M-XXL, no logos, dark, neutral colors; hygiene bags for adults and children with full-size products (see website); children’s toys and games for ages infant to 10; gifts for pre-teens and teenagers ages 11-17; and frozen turkeys, boxed stuffing, juice, cranberry sauce, and boxed macaroni and cheese.

From shelf-stable food to hygiene products, TASK is always in need of supplies to help patrons. See the full Wish List at trentonsoupkitchen.org/ways-to-give and learn what TASK always needs and what is needed seasonally. If you don’t see an item that you want to donate, call 609.695.5456 x114 before making the trip to drop it off. All items must be new.

TASK is located at 72 ½ Escher Street in Trenton. Items can be dropped off on or before December 9 at the back door, Mondays through Thursdays between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary.  More information is available at Trentonsoupkitchen.org.
