Take A Look Inside the Infant Program at Princeton Montessori School
Princeton Montessori School at 487 Cherry Valley Road is well-known for their excellent Infant program offerings. Operating Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., families are given the option to enroll their child at a minimum of three days per week with at least six hours per day.
Montessori’s Infant program is specifically designed for children 8 weeks to 18 months. Set within a sunlit, spacious, safe and secure environment that is custom designed for infants, children will love to roam and discover freedom of movement in this unique building. There will also be the opportunity for developing fine motor skills like grasping, reaching, and climbing.
The Infant Center is not merely child care; it is a program designed to fully develop the potential in each child based on the needs of infants, staffed by loving, highly-trained developmental experts. These experts base their approach on a deep respect for childhood and the partnership between parents and educator. The center is rich with age-appropriate materials that build and challenge cognitive and sensory abilities. Emotionally, this is an important age where infants learn to build trust in the environment as well as with their caregivers. Developmentally, the brain is growing and making rapid synaptic connections.
