Summer Programs at PDS Help Youths Discover Their Talents

Summer Programs at Princeton Day School (PDS) features flexible programming for eight weeks each summer. Most programs are grouped into Athletics, Enrichment, Outdoor Adventure, S.T.E.M., and Creative & Culinary Arts. Additionally, PDS offers a Panther Mini Camp for children in Pre-K or entering kindergarten next fall, as well as a traditional camp program – Pretty Brook Farm Day Camp for children entering grades 1-5. Campers can also explore and discover the school’s beautiful 106-acre campus and the state-of-the-art facilities.

This year’s program offerings include 3D Princeton, Baking 101, Clay Sculpture, Comic Book Illustration, Digital Photography, Fencing, Garden Adventure, Harry Potter, Ice Skating, Greek Mythology, Introduction to Sign Language, Lego Robotics, Puppetry & Storytelling, Make a Book, Rocketry: To Infinity and Beyond, Tennis, Yankees Baseball Camp, Theater Acting Workshop, and more!. Many summer program instructors are full-time teachers at Princeton Day School. There are also teachers from other regional schools who come highly recommended. For a complete list of program description, visit https://www.pds.org/summer-programs-2020.

Snacks and lunch are available in the Campus Center. Morning-only campers may stay for lunch and will be dismissed at 12:05 p.m. for pickup. Lunch is available for afternoon campers at 11:30 a.m. (before their program begins). All camps break for snack at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Campers may bring their lunch and snacks from home or purchase the menu at PDS.

PDS offers a Pre-Camp option beginning at 7:30 a.m. and an extended day recreational program until 5:30 p.m. Campers will have use of the school’s gym, playgrounds, board games, and other fun activities.

Princeton Day School is located at 650 Great Road in Princeton. For more information, email summerprograms@pds.org or call 609.279.2700 ext. 1342.
