Something about ocean air and salt water brings to mind the satisfaction of enjoying a cold drink and tasty meal on the boardwalk. Before the summer ends, be sure to take advantage of these upcoming food festivals at the Jersey Shore!
Cape May Craft Beer, Music & Crab Festival
Mark your calendar for the 8th Annual Cape May Craft Beer, Music & Crab Festival on Saturday, August 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Held on the beautiful grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate, guests will have the opportunity to sample local and regional craft beers and other spirits, and enjoy favorite summer foods such as steamed crabs, pulled pork, crab cakes, lobster rolls, clams, shrimp, and hot dogs. Admission is free.
This year’s event is expected to be bigger and better than ever with all-day live musical entertainment and an old-fashioned Victorian circus of acrobats and jugglers.

Italian Festival and Wine Tasting
The Italian Festival and Wine Tasting will take place on Saturday, August 3 starting at 11 a.m. at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport. Sample fine wine as you dine on authentic Italian classics and watch the horse racing. Regional Italian fare favorites The Zeppole Guys and Pie Oh My Woodfired Pizza will be in attendance.

Labor Day Lobsterfest
Spend a memorable Labor Day Weekend at Labor Day Lobsterfest in Bradley Beach. Slated for August 31 and September 1, this Shore festival boasts more than 150 craft beer and specialty vendors and more than two dozen food vendors, such as Simply Southern, Point Lobster, Jake’s Crab Shack, and Tiger’s Tale. Also featured are live entertainment and a great oceanfront location.
