Stage Left Steak Celebrates 30th Anniversary

A 30th anniversary is an impressive milestone for any business, but a restaurant? After two years of a worldwide pandemic, it’s even more extraordinary. That is why Stage Left Steak owners Mark Pascal and Francis Schott (best friends who met at Rutgers University in the early 1980s) will be throwing fabulous events all summer long.

At Stage Left Steak, you can always expect great steaks and the finest cuts of meat dressed in a Neapolitan-Based, Brooklyn-influenced Italian cooking. Pare your steak with perfectly balanced wines and cocktails in the restaurant’s pleasant outdoor space.

Special Events:

Friday, May 20: Walk Around Wine Tasting and Dinner with Skurnik Wines and Harmon Skurnik.

This wine importer/distributor is celebrating 35 years in business, and over the last three decades, the Skurnik brothers, Schott, and Pascal have become great friends and constant collaborators. Harmon himself will be joining this special tasting and dinner. The event begins at 6 p.m. and the cost to attend is $249 per person plus tax/service. Dale DeGroff is the father of modern cocktail culture in the state of New Jersey. At Stage Left in New Brunswick, DeGroff will be on hand to preside over a presentation of libations made from brands such as Old Forester, Woodford Reserve, Jack Daniels, Glendronach, and other delicious beverages. Blues guitarist King Solomon Hicks will provide live music. The event will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. and the cost to attend is $59.95 per person plus tax/service.
