On Saturday, June 18 at 5 p.m., get ready to race in the Watershed Solstice Trail Run in Pennington!
Back and bigger than ever, the trail run offers both a 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) distance. Participants can run or walk virtually or in person. The in-person competitors will have the chance to enjoy the signs of early summer at the Watershed Reserve. No walk-ins are allowed, so all runners must purchase admission ahead of time at https://thewatershed.org/solstice-run/. Registration will close on Friday, June 17 at 9 a.m. Race fees support The Watershed Institute’s mission of protecting and restoring clean water to the region through conservation, advocacy, science, and education. The race is critical to the Watershed’s fundraising efforts and this year’s goal is $27,000.
Post-race celebrations include a DJ, food trucks, a beer tent, and a fire pit with s’mores.
The Watershed Institute is located at 31 Titus Mill Road in Pennington.
