Ring in the Lunar New Year at NJPAC
According to the Chinese astrological calendar, 2023 marks the start of the year of the black water rabbit. Water signifies a time of rest and recuperation after the dynamic year of the tiger. The rabbit is a symbol of luck and is often associated with the moon, an aspect of old age and longevity.
These characteristics and more will be celebrated in full when the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company performs at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Saturday, January 21 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, January 22 at 2 p.m. A combination of dance, acrobatics, and musicality, this is a show for all ages. Inventive stage props and the gold silk costumes worn by the dancers make for a show-stopping event. This dance group has been visiting NJPAC for the past 20 years.
Ticket prices range from $27-$35 and can be purchased at www.njpac.org or by calling the Box Office at 888.696.5722. NJPAC is located at 1 Center Street in Newark.
