Plan a Family Day Trip to Crayola Experience
By Taylor Smith
Crayola Experience, located at 30 Centre Square in Easton, Pa., is dedicated to fostering creativity in children (and adults) of all ages. Crayons, markers, and chalk in every hue can be used to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Coloring life-size pages and molding clay are also part of the interactive craft room experience.
The upper floors of Crayola Experience are outfitted with 25 attractions including a section where children can name and wrap their own crayon, use Crayola Model Magic to sculpt, and star in their own coloring pages. In another area, children use melted wax to create figures. Things can get wacky, messy, and fun in the splatter art room.
Toddler Town is an area packed with activities, including a life-size pegboard (similar to Lite-Brite), clay modeling stations, and giant coloring sheets. Grab your own crayon boat at the Waterworks station, an 85-foot water table. Lastly, roam the two-story jungle gym and grab a souvenir bucket of popcorn. The cafe on the first floor offers crayon-themed lunch boxes with healthy snacks (and craft supplies!).
On Scout Appreciation Day, June 1, all scouts will receive a deep discount of $9.99 and can purchase a Crayola Experience patch for their vests for an additional $3. Visiting scouts must register by May 24 by calling 610.559.6660 or emailing jemurray@crayola.com.
You can also shop colorful classics at the Crayola Store. From school essentials to the latest in toys and activity sets, it’s the ultimate creative experience.
Hours of operation vary depending on the day of the week and special events. To plan your visit to the Crayola Experience, visit https://www.crayolaexperience.com/easton/plan-your-visit/general-info.
