Like so many restaurants, Osteria Morini and the casual, collocated Nicoletta Pizzeria have had to be nimble in adapting to the state’s dining restrictions. 

Now, in addition to a thriving takeout business, the restaurants have seating for up to 70 physically distanced guests outdoors, in both the attractive front patio and side lot. 

The streamlined hybrid menu features Osteria Morini’s signature rustic northern Italian comfort food and Nicoletta’s hand-tossed, made-to-order pizzas, all matched with a thoughtfully curated wine, beer, and classic cocktail list. 

Luckily, for frequent diners, perennial menu favorites remain includingCalabrese Hot Wings with Honey-Chili Glaze; Burrata Salad with Heirloom Tomatoes; Risotto with Sweet Jersey Corn; House-Made Rigatoni with Meatballs; Branzino with Summer Squash Caponata; Bisteca with Roasted Corn and Tomato Salad; and specialty pies like Funghi (roasted wild mushrooms, sautéed spinach, and porcini marsala crema) and the popular Calabrese (pepperoni, house-made fennel sausage, red onions, and mozzarella).

Saturday Night Backyard BBQ 

Each week, chefs create a special family-style three-course menu highlighting Jersey produce, meats grilled to perfection, and a devilish dessert. Seatings are at 6 and 6:30 p.m. $65 per person ($25 per person for kids under 10). 

Sunday Supper to Go 

Wind down the weekend in style with a generous three-course take-home feast that changes weekly and offers a global culinary adventure. Orders must be placed by 5 p.m. the Friday prior. The cost is $125/dinner for 4. 

Take-Out Trays 

Much of Osteria Morini/Nicoletta’s takeout menu is available in half-trays, which feed four, for stress-free family dining at home.
