New York City Wine & Food Festival, October 10-13

By Taylor Smith

Tickets for the 2019 New York City Wine & Food Festival (NYCWFF), to be held October 10-13, are on sale now at https://nycwff.org.

Since its beginning, NYCWFF has raised over $12.5 million to help fight hunger. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the event benefit Food Bank for New York City and the No Kid Hungry Campaign to end childhood hunger in America and the five boroughs of New York City. Every year, NYCWFF raises nearly $1 million for these charities, effectively aiding in the quest to end the hunger gap in our country.

Margarette Purvis, president and CEO of Food Bank for New York City says, “Hunger continues to be an invisible crisis in New York City — the food capital of the world. With support from NYCWFF, Food Bank for New York City is able to provide fresh and nourishing meals for the 1 in 5 New Yorkers who struggle to put food on the table.”

NYCWFF has become New York City’s premier wine and food festival, highlighting the industry’s best chefs and restaurants. Festival guests experience the very best food and beverages while contributing to the fight to end hunger. The day-long, multi-day lineup includes live cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, educational opportunities, samplings of fine cuisine and wine, exclusive celebrity appearances, sit-down dining opportunities, and more. Also  featured at the annual event are Food Network and Cooking Channel industry experts such as Giada De Laurentiis, Katie Lee, Debi Mazar, Rachel Ray, Marcus Samuelsson, and Michael Symon, to name a few.
