The annual balloon festival of New Jersey releases approximately 100 hot air balloons into the sky every summer. This year’s celebration is set for July 29 through 31 at Solberg Airport in Readington. Admission prices range from $12 to $32, and hours vary. With so many colorful hot air balloons filling the sky, the event should be a spectacle unto itself.

Attendees can purchase rides in the hot air balloons, and the concert lineup features popular musicians including Todd Rundgren, Kansas, Collective Soul, and children’s favorite Laurie Berkner. Food vendors and the many tribute bands make it the perfect family outing in the height of the summer season.
