On March 13 from noon to 4 p.m., the Nassau Inn with Hamilton Jewelers and the Princeton community bring to town a wedding showcase event where guests can truly experience why Princeton is quickly becoming a favorite wedding destination.

Couples who picture a magical winter wedding, cocktail hour by lantern light, a light and breezy outdoor ceremony or a dramatic ballroom event, will be inspired by tangible exhibits and planning tips on bringing those visions to life. This year’s inaugural event will tap into the creative minds of design experts such as, Vinterest Props, Viburnum Designs and Petal Pushers to bring guests fully designed rooms they can walk through, feel and picture themselves in.

Pre-registered guests will have the opportunity to work with one of Nassau Inn’s preferred photographers Kyo Morishima and have their engagement photo taken in an iconic setting. Digital copies will be provided to the guests for their personal use.

Taking an active approach will be encouraged at the showcase and dancing shoes are a must! Performances by Ariel music, Sound Choice DJ and Ambient DJ will keep people dancing. For those who know not how to dance, no problem, everyone will know a few simple steps after taking a dance demo class with Fred Astaire or take a stroll through Princeton and discover why this is THE wedding weekend destination. Princeton Tour Company will navigate through town emphasizing all of the great photo op and ceremony hot spots.

Inner Fashionistas will be embraced when brides fall in love with gorgeous gowns from Exquisite Bride. The live model fashion show format will allow fluid conversation with the models. Those important questions such as fit and comfort level will all be answered! Once they know what they want to wear for the big day, a trip to see the beauty consultants from Cosmo Bleu Salon will get brides a mini makeover and up-do trial.

Grooms will not be forgotten at this event. A Grooms corner will entertain the men with tastings, activities, groomsmen gift options and wedding band inspiration by Hamilton Jewelers. Brooks Brothers can fit him for a custom tailored suit while he discusses transportation options with A1 Limousine and even books his rehearsal dinner. This is the perfect opportunity to cross off everything on “his” to do list in one day.

Of course no showcase would be complete without menu sampling. In addition to wedding entrees, try popular enhancements such as post wedding breakfasts, cocktail hour stations and “Say Good Night Gracie’s”. Couples may want to add a touch of local flare to complement their wedding packages. Tastings from Nassau Inn’s local partners will also be available. Visit Olsson’s Fine Foods, Chez Alice, Cartero & Cavero, Thomas Sweets’ and the Caketeria at the showcase.
