Living In: Brielle, New Jersey
The borough of Brielle is in southern Monmouth County along the Manasquan River. It is bordered by Manasquan, Wall Township, and Point Pleasant Beach. The town is known as a “boaters town,” with approximately 4 miles of waterfront along the Manasquan River, Glimmerglass, and Debbie’s Creek, all of which are salt water or tidal. Brielle is close to the Manasquan beaches. The downtown also offers shops, dining, and small businesses.
With a current population of around 4,800 residents, Brielle is surrounded by multiple parks and marinas. The town hosts a recreation department which provides activities such as basketball, tennis, soccer, baseball, and more. Brielle is also home to the Manasquan River Golf Club, a 140-acre course with 18 holes, nearby the Manasquan Yacht Club (both are member establishments).
The Brielle School District consists of Brielle Elementary School (a highly rated public school) for grades K-8. For high school, Brielle students attend either Manasquan High School or Red Bank Regional High School. There are also a variety of private and parochial schools at either the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Positioned approximately 65 miles from Manhattan, Brielle is served by numerous private and public transportation options.
Train Travel:
Brielle is located along the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line served by train stations in neighboring towns of Manasquan and Spring Lake. This line runs from Bayhead in the south to Hoboken, Newark Penn Station, and New York City’s Penn Station in the north. It also connects riders to Amtrak and Newark Airport.

Brielle is served by NJ Transit Buses with daily service to New York City, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, and other towns in between.
Ferry Commuters:
Brielle residents can commute to and from Lower Manhattan via the Seastreak Ferry NJ in Atlantic Highlands. Travel time from Atlantic Highlands to Wall Street is 45 minutes each way.
