Join Longwood Gardens on the second Friday of every month throughout Light: Installations by Bruce Munro for a fantastically fun themed Light Nights. Enjoy live music, fountain performances, family activities, and more — all inspired by Light — during these special evenings.
My Only Sunshine: Friday, July 8
Celebrate all things sun with the first Light Night, a floral demonstration inspired by the varying stages of light and ending with a fountain performance. The display will have you walking on sunshine.
Caribbean Nights: Friday, August 12
Travel to the tropics with Caribbean steel pan music, a tropical birds talk, and a new Caribbean Life illuminated fountain performance. The light display will give the impression of 1,000 brightly colored flamingoes wading near the Chimes Tower.
Over the Moon: Friday, September 9
It’s a night to remember with “Light,” an illuminating nighttime photography talk, and the new evening inspired I Love the Nightlife illuminated fountain performance.
Wondrous Water: Friday, October 14
Explore the element of water with Light — including the immersive C-scales installation, inspired by Longwood’s very own water gardens, as well as an informative talk on the importance of water.
The July 8 and August 12 performances will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., while the September 9 and October 14 performances will occur from 5 to 8 p.m. Timed tickets are required, and advance purchase is strongly suggested as sell out is likely.
