Learn How to Grow Fruit in Your Home Garden
On May 15, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., the Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) educational system will lead a Zoom online learning course entitled Grow Fruit in Your Home Garden.
This class is designed to increase the diversity of plant species in your home garden with a focus on fruit trees. Fruiting plants are perennials that can not only add pleasure to your table, but can also improve your home’s landscape and aesthetic quality. Fruit trees require a lot of preparation and yearly maintenance. To better understand the upkeep involved, berry specialist Laura McDermott of CCE’s Eastern New York Regional Fruit and Vegetable Program will teach class members how to optimize their efforts.
