In-Person Series at Penn Medicine Princeton Health
Beginning September 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. and running through September 21, Penn Medicine Princeton Health will be offering an in-depth workshop on strategies for living with osteoporosis and osteopenia. The cost to attend is $50 per person.
The class will help those suffering from osteoporosis and osteopenia to reduce their risk of falls, improve spinal alignment, improve posture, and learn how to protect the spine during daily activities. The program will also include an exercise component for ways of working out safely both indoors and outdoors. Specially trained physical therapists will also explain and demonstrate how to independently get down onto the floor and back up. Exercises to improve bone health, posture, and flexibility will be emphasized.
The class will meet at Princeton Medical Center, Conference Room E in Plainsboro.
