Have Your Requests Ready for Dueling Pianos

If you ask, “Do you know. . .?” You may hear, “Hum a few bars and we’ll play it.” Have your song requests ready, because the dueling piano players probably know them.
Sing, dance, and laugh along to this high energy, all-request, interactive dueling piano show performed by the Flying Ivories every Thursday on the Green at Palmer Square through August 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Flying Ivories’ website says, “from Billy Joel to Aretha Franklin, from Sinatra to Metallica, from Johnny Cash to Katy Perry, we’ve got it covered. You control the set list, so no two shows are ever the same.” The pianists rotate from a core group of instrumentalists and musicians.
Palmer Square management suggests coming early to shop, dine, and enjoy cold drinks from the outside bar (opens at 5:30 p.m.) to sip on throughout the show. Pack your chairs and blankets and enjoy a summer night in Princeton.
Rain dates are August 15 and August 22. For garage parking, enter the Hulfish or Chambers Street Garage after 4 p.m., and leave before 7 a.m., for $5 flat rate.
