The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce and the Lambertville Chamber of Commerce are running the first New Hope and Lambertville Restaurant Week, sponsored by Union Chill, which began January 13 and runs through January 27.
Over 20 restaurants from both sides of the Delaware River are offering specially priced prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus, providing diners with exceptional culinary experiences in these charming river towns.
Participating restaurants feature diverse cuisines and dining settings, ranging from casual eateries to fine dining establishments. Each restaurant is offering its own unique menu at various price points, allowing guests to explore a variety of flavors and dining experiences.
A note about going between New Jersey and Pennsylvania: The New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported vehicular Bridge (with walkway) was shut down on January 13 for repairs.
However, an outside vendor is providing a temporary shuttle service at no cost to its riders. The service is intended solely for bridge walkway patrons only. The shuttle operates with two mini-buses in service 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. On Friday and Saturday nights only, extended service is provided with a single vehicle 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Single drop-off/pick-up stops in New Hope and Lambertville’s commercial centers are listed on the Restaurant Week website, as is the shuttle schedule and a list of participating restaurants.
And perhaps this week’s New Hope and Lambertville Restaurant Week will whet your appetite for more: Princeton’s Restaurant Week is March 1 through 7; Lawrenceville’s is March 2 through 9.
Bon Appetit!
