Adler has been the spiritual leader of Adath Israel Congregation in Lawrenceville since 2014. He is a graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York City, where he earned a master’s degree in Jewish philosophy. Adler also studied at the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. All are welcome to this event.
For those who may not know, Hanukkah is a sacred eight-day festival that commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem after its desecration by the Seleucid Empire in the second century BCE. Jewish people all over the world kindle the menorah each evening and bring light to the darkness. Hanukkah crafts will be made available by the library staff.
