On Thursday, September 1 from 5 to 7 p.m., celebrate “Grazin’ in the Garden” at Hopewell’s most beautiful organic garden, Van Dyke Farm. Live music will be provided by Grant Peterson, an artist, musician and teacher based in Hopewell. The music will be complemented not only by the late summer scenery, but also by the food and wine.
A grazing menu of herbs, vegetables, and locally raised venison will be served alongside local wine from Unionville Vineyards, which is fermented just over the hill in Ringoes. Be sure to visit the goats and climb to the top of the “treehouse” for a bird’s eye view of the property, which is the historic family farm of Emily Vickers and Tom Mason.
The price to attend is $250 per person and proceeds support Morven Museum’s continual exhibitions and educational programs.
