Decorate a Gingerbread House at Morven Family Night

Decorate your own gingerbread house for the holiday season at Morven Museum & Garden at the Gingerbread House Decorating and Family Night on Wednesday, December 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Stockton Education Center, 55 Stockton Street.

Inspired by the holiday decorations that adorn Morven each year, create your own unique gingerbread house and explore the magic of the Festival of Trees with the whole family.

Tickets that include the gingerbread house and admission for four are $35: $30 for a Morven member. Tickets that admit one, and do not include a gingerbread house, are $8; $6 for a Morven member.

The tickets are priced per gingerbread house and include access for up to four attendees (ages 3 and older). To reserve more than one gingerbread house, purchase a second ticket. For more than four people attending, purchase extra individual tickets at checkout.  Morven members must log in to your Morven member account in the upper right-hand corner of the registration page in order to access the member rate.

Those who wish to attend can register here.

The pre-built gingerbread houses are about 8 inches tall, 6 inches long, and 5 inches wide. They come with their own base for easy transport home. The ingredients contain wheat and soy. All decorating supplies are provided, including candy, icing, and four gingerbread people. Festive treats and holiday music are offered during decoration, which is suggested take about an hour.

Tickets also include admission for up to four (recommended for kids ages 3 and older) to visit the museum’s Festival of Trees.
