Al Roker to Speak at Cancer Survivors Month Event

Join Penn Medicine Princeton Health for a special event with cancer survivor and TV host Al Roker on Wednesday, June 28 at 7 p.m. at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village.

During this moderated conversation, NBC TODAY’s weatherman and co-anchor Roker will describe his own experience with cancer. Roker was diagnosed with prostate cancer in November 2020. He shared the news on-air with the TODAY audience and helped to raise awareness about prostate cancer and the importance of screening and early detection.

Everyone is welcome to arrive early for coffee, tea, and desserts before the program begins. Check-in starts at 5:30 p.m.

This event is free to attend, but pre-registration is required at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cancer-survivors-month-event-with-al-roker-registration-650843429217. For registration questions or issues, call 1.888.897.8979.

This event is presented by Princeton Health Community Wellness and the Penn Medicine Princeton Cancer Center. It is made possible by funds raised through the Princeton Medical Center Foundation’s annual golf outing.

Princeton Forrestal Village is located at 201 Village Boulevard.
