The sounds of summer are enhanced by the musical notes of the Princeton University Summer Chamber Concerts, which continue in June and July at Richardson Auditorium, Alexander Hall, on the Princeton University campus. The concerts are free, but tickets are required. Tickets are available one week before each concert, after 10 a.m., through tickets.princeton.edu.
In its 57th season PUSCC’s mission expands summer cultural and educational opportunities by presenting world-class chamber ensembles. Melissa Bohl is committee chair and artistic director.
On Sunday, June 23 at 4 p.m., the Ulysses Quartet, pictured above, plays a program by Tower, Fanny Mendelssohn, and Beethoven.
On Tuesday, July 2 at 7:30 p.m., the New Century Saxophone Quartet plays selections by J.S .Bach, Dvorák, Zarvos, Shostakovich, and others.
On Monday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m., the Phaeton Piano Trio plays Hayden, Felix Mendelssohn, and Dvorák.
And on Monday, July 15 at 7:30 p.m., the Balourdet Quartet plays Mozart, Al-Zand, and Beethoven.
Audiences can choose from three seating sections: wheelchair platform (wheelchair space and one adjacent companion); orchestra ground floor (two-seat limit); and balcony (limit of four seats). For assistance with tickets, email tixhelp@princeton.edu.
