McCarter Theatre Center has announced an exciting addition to the 2023-24 Season — the six-time Tony Award-winning and Grammy Award-winning Dreamgirls. The musical will run from March 6-24, 2024.

Helmed by Jeff Award Winner Lili-Anne Brown, and co-produced with Goodspeed Musicals, this Motown-infused long-running Broadway show is going to be electric when it arrives in Princeton.

In Dreamgirls, stars rise and stars fall, but dreams live forever. A 1960s Motown girl group catches its big break during an amateur competition. But will their friendship — and their music — survive their rapid ascent to pop stardom? With dazzling costumes and vocal performances, this production will make you want to get up and dance!
