Take a trip back to the 1920s at Hopewell Theater’s New Year’s Eve party on Tuesday, December 31 starting at 6 p.m. The evening features a three-course dinner by Brick Farm Tavern; live music by Philadelphia’s vintage swing band, Parlour Noir; a swing dance lesson; party favors; and a cash bar. The event is semi-formal and vintage attire is encouraged.

Entrée options from Brick Farm Tavern are Beef Bresato over soft polenta or Cauliflower Steak over soft polenta with Parmesan cheese and root vegetables. Appetizers, coffee, and dessert are included for a dinner ticket of $125.  Doors open and the band begins playing at 6 p.m., with dinner service starting at 6:45 p.m. Patrons should arrive for dinner no later than 7 p.m. Seating will be selected when booking your reservations.

The Premiere Party Balcony and Dance Ticket (without dinner) is $75 and invites guests to dance the night away on a semi-private balcony overlooking the party and dinner tables. The Party Balcony will be open from 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The lively six-piece ensemble Parlour Noir is comprised of vocals, horns, piano, banjo, drums, and an upright bass. The band’s repertoire spans 1922-1945 and is rooted in the jazz music of historic Mt. Airy district in Philadelphia.
