Climb on board for a ride on the train, Easter egg hunt, and bunny meet-and-greet

Black River & Western Railroad at Stangl Road and State Route 12 in Flemington is hosting Easter-themed train rides and activities on Saturday, April 20. Admission is $12 for children and $16 for adults. 

Cottontail Limited will depart from Ringoes Station, 108 John Ringo Road in Ringoes, N.J. The train will take families to nearby Bowne, where children will participate in the Easter egg hunt at Bowne Station. On the train, the Easter bunny will meet with children and pass out sweet treats. Don’t forget to bring along your own basket. Families will then have the opportunity to take photos with the Easter bunny following the Easter egg hunt and story time. Trains depart from Ringoes Station on Saturday, April 20 at 3:30 and 5 p.m. Guests under age 3 ride free. 

The Easter Bunny Express will leave from Flemington Station at 80 Stangl Road in Flemington on Saturday, April 20 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., traveling to Ringoes. The Easter bunny will meet with children and pass out Easter goodies. It is recommended that families arrive to Flemington Station at least 15 minutes prior to departure in order to secure a seat.

Fun for all ages, Railfest features a multitude of food vendors, live music, operating model trains, and blacksmith demonstrations.
