2019 Summer at Stuart

This summer, give Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart a try. Located at 1200 Stuart Road in Princeton, Stuart’s summer camps are open to children ages preschool through grade 12. Taught by Stuart Country Day School faculty, the offerings are fun, educational, rewarding, and diverse. Before/after camp can and lunch are also available.
For children ages 2-5, there is Camp Stuart for Boys and Girls. All of these young campers engage in special Stuart activities like arts and crafts, hikes, music, reading, water fun, engineering, drama, and lots of play time. With a faculty to camper ration of 1:7, Camp Stuart is a great way to spend the summer learning and playing. Camp themes include Tiny Toes in the Sand, We are Family, and Moving and Grooving.

For girls entering junior kindergarten and kindergarten, there is the Junior Academic Academy for Girls. Morning sessions (9 a.m. to noon) emphasize routines and skill sets to get the girls ready for their first day of school in September. Afternoon sessions (12:30 to 3:30 p.m.) provide hands-on indoor and outdoor learning experiences on Stuart’s 55-acre campus. Sample weekly themes are Millie’s Outdoor Explorers, Millie’s Techies, and Millie’s Bakers.

The range of summer camp offerings for Lower School (entering grades K-4), Middle School (entering grades 5-8), and Upper School (entering grades 9-12) girls are very extensive. Sports camps for almost every discipline are taught by Stuart’s expert faculty and coaches. STEM programming combines engineering, math, development, and computer programming with a student’s natural curiosity for courses like Digital Fashion Design Camp, App Development Camp with MIT App Inevator, 3D Printing and 3D Modeling, Spy Tech Camp, Roller Coaster Design Camp with STEM Education, and Spy Tech Camp, to name a few.
With StuARTS, budding artists can pursue concentrations in painting, drawing, printmaking, and performance arts. Campers can also get a jump-start on fall coursework with introductions to various levels of mathematics, like Algebra in Review and Are You Ready for Algebra?
